Small tree, reaches about 6 m tall and wide. The tree has a round, very regular shaped crown and dense branching giving it a rather more formal look than other Malus cultivars. The leaves are very healthy, shiny dark green. The flower buds are pink: the open flowers white. The flowers have a diameter of approx. 3 cm. The fruits are orange-red and approx. 1 cm. They remain on the tree until into winter. ‘Snowdrift’ has rich annual blossom. The ornamental value of the blossom in enhanced by the fine, dense crown shape. Low scab susceptibility.
