This small and slow growing tree has a spherical crown and is shows a distinct resemblance to 'Brilliantissum'. The tree can reach a height of 4 to 5 m. The leaf has 5 lobes. Young foliage is purplish, later yellow-green speckled. The underside remains light purple all summer. The leaf of this cultivar is less sensitive to scorching than that of the 'Brilliantissum'. Flowers and fruits are of the species. 'Prinz Hadjery' is applied as a small park tree and as a solitary in gardens. It does not require anything special from the soil.
